On May 23 in Poznań at the gala of the international conference Logistics 2018, the awards of the Polish Logistics Association were presented.
The main PTL 2018 Prize went to the project entitled "Implementation of the rail tank identification system of PKN ORLEN SA and external siding operators using RFID technology"
The award presented by the President of the Polish Logistics Association, Professor Mariusz Jedliński and the President of the European Logistics Association, Professor Paolo Bisogni, was received by Marek Czarzyński on behalf of the HADATAP company implementing the project and Piotr Szymański, Director of the Infrastructure and Logistics Bureau on behalf of PKN ORLEN.
Award of the Polish Logistics Association
Since 1998, the Polish Logistics Association has been organizing a competition for the PTL award in a two-year cycle. The Polish Logistics Association is distinguished by logistic projects implemented by Polish enterprises. So far, 11 editions of this competition have been held.
Companies registered in the territory of the Republic of Poland may apply for the PTL Award, and the submitted project should concern the implementation of innovative technologies or modern organizational solutions, as well as other solutions aimed at streamlining logistic processes implemented in practice (theoretical work and project implementation descriptions are not allowed).
